Common questions
I'm worried about someone else's home. Who do I call first?
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. If there's a risk of fire or harm, the council (020 8825 8000) and a London Fire Brigade home visit. If it's more about how they're feeling, their GP or Ealing Talking Therapies.
Can I get help without going through my GP?
Yes: you can refer yourself to Ealing Talking Therapies, call CAPE, West London Mind or EACH directly, and book a fire safety visit online.
Is any of this free?
Almost all of it: NHS, council assessments, charities and fire visits are free.
